Gorgeous cat, great expression... I wish there was more light on her face, though-- her eyes get murky.

@Cacophony: Thank you, Cacophony. You're right, she's gorgeous.
As to the light, if you watch carefully, you'll see the light is coming from the left of the frame... so, it would be weird if there were more light on her eyes...
Fine shot - she looks rather condescending.

@Damon Schreiber: Condescending? Why do you think so?...
I appreciate your comment, Damon. Thanks.
Magnifique félin, des airs princiers qui ne trompent pas sur l'origine de cet animal béni des dieux ;o)

@Inés: Merci beaucoup, Inés ! Elle va être très flattée quand je lui dis sur ton commentaire...
The shot is very beautiful, and de composition, but I thing also that more light in her eyes go well

@lidia: ¡Gracias, Lidia! Como le decía a Cacophony, la luz venía de la izquierda, por eso no le da en los ojos... Gracias de todos modos por la sugerencia.
The right side of her face is a bit dark, but it's still lovely! I agree with Lidia, more detail in the eyes would make the shot pop!

@DaveB: Thank you for your nice comment, Dave.
(Maybe "popping" shots are not my style :) )
Beautiful shot!

@Paola Veneziani: Thank you, Paola. Agree with you, she is lovely.
I love the photo and also the title....I'm tempted to say that it explains a lot but I'd probably be completely wrong as usual :-)

@Ian Bramham: Thanks, Ian! Hey, I'd love to read your interpretation... Now I'm all intrigued!...
A beautiful and natural portrait . . I love how cats are so good at keeping their thoughts to themselves.

@AG: Thank you, AG. I love how I can commune with her when she looks at me that way...
Well, regarding my earlier comment about the photo and the title it's very simple really......cats are very enigmatic beings aren't they and difficult to understand. I see the cat as you I suppose. I'm getting into dangerous territory here so I'll quit while I'm ahead!
(By the way, she just had to be a 'Persian' didn't she - the most enigmatic of all her kind :-)

@Ian Bramham: I'm so pleased, Ian! Thank you for taking the time to answer... You shouldn't worry about getting into "dangerous territory," you know. This is one of the best compliments I've got ever, however strange that may sound... So thank you again.
Deepest apolgies....'siamese'!
