. . . . If I were a well, would you dive into my hollowness? . . .

Highly unlikely...what an unusual photo...

@Lorraine: "Highly unlikely"? I assume that's your answer to my question, right? But it was a (partly) rhetorical question! (wink)
I appreciate your comment, L. May I ask why do you find this unusual?
hmmmm .... caught my attention ... interesting.

@Raye Michele: That's a good thing. Thanks for your comment, Michele.
No....I'm done with that, but it's a really great photo.

@Ian Bramham: You're done with... what, precisely? (Another answer to my (partly) rhetorical question?...)
Thank you for your kind words, Ian.
Ah, now I got it! First I thought it was a dead insect ;-) A very cool "cool" blue!

@dee: :) Well, you were right on the "dead" part... I'm glad you liked it, D. It's weird, this blue... It came out just like that, I didn't have to toy with anything...
Quite an interesting shot. I like the tones. Is this a lock of your hair?

@standley: Thanks, Standley. Yes, it's precisely that.
You certainly can, it's because it looks soooo crisp, to the point of being scary yet it's surrounded by a mellow feel all around it (the softening) so that it becomes very intriguing!!! I wasn't sure what species I was looking at, now I know, the hairy kind lol ;) always love your titles and your uncanny ability to post something truly mysterious!

@Lorraine: Now I see what you mean... (I didn't soften it, though... it's just focus and natural dusk light, almost no pp). Thanks for your always nice words, L.!
I like the narrow focus... the choice of DOF...
(I sometimes wonder what it would be like if humanity mutated and our hair became sensitive... possible of feeling pain... I know, my thoughts tend to walk strange paths...)

@n: Thanks, N...
(Yes, they do... Would that kind of new pain be as unbearable as others, I wonder?...)
I have enough problems falling into my own well of hollowness. Fine thought-piece - the hair floats in limbo.

@Damon Schreiber: Limbo is a place I visit frequently. Speaking of hollowness...
Thanks a lot for your words, D.
