@Dang: Thank you, Dang. paola veneziani photography from Brescia, ItalyBeautiful! Excellent composition! Very soft colors! 10 Dec 2007 8:21am @paola veneziani photography: Glad you like it, Paola. Thanks for your nice words. @Lorraine: That's very nice of you, Lorraine... (You really like my name, don't you? ;) Be careful or you'll wear it down!) @Craiger: Me too! Jason Kravitz from Brussels, Belgiumnice shot - great in its simplicity 10 Dec 2007 10:39am @Jason Kravitz: Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jason. Now that you mention it... I was planning to launch my own rose tea brand here in Aminus3. Would that violate the user agreement? n from SwedenI choose to see more symbolism: I'm thinking that the petal is kissing its own fading and ageing face in a mirroring surface. It's the same nuances as my latest photos. That burgundy colour that you noticed (or is this more rust?). The deep black. There is no macro feeling here – the proportions are different, not "natural". I like that. It feels like being both close and far away in this shot. 10 Dec 2007 10:39am @n: A perfectly valid, coherent choice, N. Maybe, you're right... In Spanish we literally call it "old" pink (I think it's dusty pink in English, but I'm not so sure). There you have another symbolism. Well, it was not my intention to shoot a macro, so your comment is truly rewarding. "Both close and far away"... That's the feeling exactly. Thanks, N. T-Daddy from Dachsbach, GermanySuper, die Aufnahme auf das minimalste reduziert. Perfekt 10 Dec 2007 4:18pm @T-Daddy: Vielen Dank! nima from gorgan, Iranyour image structure is stronge . i like that . i'm wating for your beauty image.it's a good word.word of photography. 10 Dec 2007 5:25pm @nima: Thank you, Nima. There's yet another one to come in this series, but it's not beauty precisely... Maybe soon. dee from Innsbruck, AustriaYesterday's and today's shot are wonderful. So full of beauty and peace ... they are so "zen-like" ... 10 Dec 2007 5:25pm @dee: Thanks, Dee! I always appreciate your comments. @yiannis krikis: Funny, but this is everything but a studio... @Eleftheria, 9 years old,: That's very nice of you, miss, thank you! AG from United KingdomFollowing through from yesterday such beautiful simplicity . . exceptional images full of imagination and understanding. 10 Dec 2007 10:20pm @AG: Beautiful words, AG... I'm not sure I deserve them... Thanks a lot, really. @Luis Rodrigues: Muito obrigada, Luis. Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaGreat curves! And a fine complement to the ice cube. 10 Dec 2007 11:54pm @Damon Schreiber: Thanks, Damon. That's what it's supposed to be, so I'm glad you mentioned it. @badala: Thanks, Badala. amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaEphemeral is a perfect word for this. Beautiful in it's simplicity. 11 Dec 2007 4:42pm @amy: It sure is, Amy. Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it. @Shawna: Agreed, thanks. Morris J. Chisholm from Thunder Bay - Land of the Sleeping Giant, CanadaOh yeah, now that is photography! 18 Dec 2007 1:29am @Morris J. Chisholm: Thank you, Morris. I gather this is a veiled critique to the rest, which are not photography at all! (Kidding.) @Jim Bridges: Thank you, Jim, I'm glad you liked it. |
