@Jason Kravitz: Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jason.
Now that you mention it... I was planning to launch my own rose tea brand here in Aminus3. Would that violate the user agreement?
I choose to see more symbolism: I'm thinking that the petal is kissing its own fading and ageing face in a mirroring surface. ___
It's the same nuances as my latest photos. That burgundy colour that you noticed (or is this more rust?). The deep black. ___
There is no macro feeling here – the proportions are different, not "natural". I like that. It feels like being both close and far away in this shot.
@n: A perfectly valid, coherent choice, N. ___
Maybe, you're right... In Spanish we literally call it "old" pink (I think it's dusty pink in English, but I'm not so sure). There you have another symbolism. ___
Well, it was not my intention to shoot a macro, so your comment is truly rewarding.
"Both close and far away"... That's the feeling exactly.
Thanks, N.
Super, die Aufnahme auf das minimalste reduziert. Perfekt

Yesterday's and today's shot are wonderful. So full of beauty and peace ... they are so "zen-like" ...
